Meet Chantelle Maree

Chantelle Maree began her journey in hairdressing as a colorist in a salon located in Brisbane's CBD. Inspired by her mother, who was also a hairdresser, Chantelle followed a similar path and quickly gained recognition, becoming a finalist for both the AHFA Apprentice of the Year and Fame Team.

As a mother of two, Chantelle's career took a significant turn after the birth of her eldest son, Fletcher. She established Chantelle Maree Hair, initially operating a solo chair studio from her Godmother's home, where she specialized in color and cut services. A pivotal moment in her career came when she attended Natalie Anne's Social Play class at Brisbane Hair Expo, which ignited her passion for styling and the possibilities of social media.

Chantelle transitioned into a full-time Bridal Hair Stylist, quickly becoming highly sought after in the industry. This shift led her to focus entirely on styling, allowing her to leave behind her salon clients and dedicate herself fully to bridal work.

Chantelle’s expertise and creativity have also led her to work backstage at Fashion Week, styling for both models on the runway and notable figures seated in the front row. Additionally, she has shared her insights and knowledge as a panelist on the Mane Stage, further establishing her as a leading voice in the industry.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Chantelle participated in Redken's Digital Crew and, post- pandemic, in the GHD Style Squad. These experiences fueled her creativity and innovation in content creation. As she began sharing tutorial-based content, her audience grew, leading to requests for educational resources.

In 2023, Chantelle embarked on a national tour across Australia and last year she hosted international masterclasses in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and New Zealand.

Chantelle is currently a proud ambassador for Natalie Anne and GHD.
